A parcel number, and the footage that goes with it

The gantry timestamps every read. C4u_Mining queries all connected sites, finds the event and opens the cameras of the site concerned at the exact moment of passage. An operator at head office can therefore search without knowing which site the parcel went through.

The same engine exists as a standalone client and as a tab inside the Milestone XProtect Smart Client: operators stay in the tool they already use.

Four families of use in live operation

Processing already proven in real logistics and industrial environments. Parcels on conveyors: counting and unit tracking, anomaly detection, correlation with the sorter. Virtual zones: entry authorisation per zone, headcount of people present, alerts on restricted areas. Forklifts: location within the warehouse, detection of people around a moving truck. Gestures and postures: analysis of handling movements, identification of risky postures, PPE compliance checks.

Software built under a client's own brand

We also develop software that ships under a client's brand. For a German logistics software publisher, we built a multi-source data acquisition portal with automatic extraction of photographs and video footage as pallets are loaded.

It shows that our software building blocks are reusable and can be integrated into another company's offering.
